A beginning class for teens in the application of makeup. The course covers:

• How to select the correct shade of foundation.
• Proper application of foundation.
• How to apply eye shadow.
• How to select the correct color eye shadow and lipstick for your skin tone.
• How to apply blush, and proper placement.
• How to contour the face to correct proportions.(Nose, jaw line)
• Current makeup styles and techniques.
• Demonstrations, hands on techniques, and handouts of styles and types of makeup application.

Julia Richardson is a Makeup Artist and Stylist working in the Motion Picture,Television and Photography industry, for the past 14 years. Most recently Julia worked on "Inside The Actor's Studio", with Robin Williams, and "Sorority Life", MTV's reality series.

• Use of color correctors and camouflaging:scars, blemishes.
